Louise Auger BDS BCST RCST

Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist

When I first experienced Craniosacral Therapy in 2013 it immediately triggered a profound curiosity within me “How does that work?” I had trained and worked within traditional clinical healthcare models for many years with little Louise Augerknowledge or experience of complimentary medicine. I was amazed at how effective the gentle  Craniosacral touch was in releasing tensions I had been unaware I was holding. Within weeks I signed myself up for a Living Anatomy and Physiology Foundation Course which lead into a two year Craniosacral Therapist Practitioner training at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust (CTET) in London.  Since graduating in 2016 I have continued to develop my skills in Craniosacral Therapy and have attended many postgraduate workshops covering a variety of Craniosacral topics.  I have regular supervision sessions with an experienced craniosacral supervisor to support my continued development in the subject.

I have always believed in “prevention being better than cure” and been aware of the importance of good nutrition, hydration, exercise, plenty of sleep and a good work life balance in maintaining health. But throughout life we all encounter events, physical and/or emotional that can throw us off balance.  In my experience Craniosacral Therapy can help in restoring that balance.

I graduated as a dentist from Birmingham University 32 years ago and continue to work part time in a private dental clinic in Kent where I focus my practice on taking and reporting on 3d images used for diagnosis and treatment planning for implant and oral surgery work.

I was born and spent much of my childhood in New Zealand before my family emigrated to the UK when I was a teenager. I have lived in Bearsted, Kent for 28 years with my husband, three children and numerous pets.
